Nurse Educator Grant Awards

About the Awards

Each recipient will receive an award of up to $2,000 per term, with a maximum of $4,000 per academic year.

Iowa Student Loan will notify the financial aid office of each recipient’s college or university when an award is made. Accepting a Nurse Educator Grant may reduce your eligibility for other sources of financial aid.

The Iowa Student Loan Nurse Educator Grant Program may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice and at the sole discretion of Iowa Student Loan.

Award Notification

Grants will be awarded on a rolling basis as applications are received.

Applicants will be notified if they receive an award or if they are ineligible approximately two weeks after a complete application is received.

Receiving the Award

Awards will be sent directly to grant recipients approximately two to four weeks after notification.

Tax Implications

The Iowa Student Loan Nurse Educator Grant may have tax implications. Recipients of the grant will be issued all applicable IRS tax forms. Recipients should consult a tax professional to understand how the award may affect taxes.
