Iowa Student Loan Benefits

Iowa Student Loan offers comprehensive health, dental and vision plans at a low cost to our employees and their families, available the first of the month following the date of hire. We offer the following benefits to employees at no cost:

• Basic life insurance at a value of two times an employee’s salary.
• Short- and long-term disability.
• Pension plan based upon a percentage of the employee’s wages, and determined annually by the Board of Directors. Historically, the contribution has been 7.5% of an employees’ annual salary.
• 401(k) plan providing 17 investment options that employees may defer pretax wages to a maximum of $15,500 annually. Employee contributions are matched dollar for dollar by the company to a maximum of 3.5%.
• Paid vacation, sick leave and holiday benefits.
• Additional benefits include bereavement leave, tuition reimbursement, salary performance adjustments, flex spending, casual dress code policy, employee assistance program and a wellness program.
