No new applications are being accepted for the Iowa Student Loan Teacher Education Loan Forgiveness Program. If you are an approved recipient, you must complete and submit the following forms and supporting documents to received benefits.

Loans Owned or Serviced by Iowa Student Loan

Please complete and submit the:

• Annual Confirmation of Full-Time Employment form (PDF)

Loans Owned or Serviced by an Entity Other Than Iowa Student Loan

Please complete and/or submit a(n):

• Annual Confirmation of Full-Time Employment form (PDF)
• Designation Form for Qualifying Loans Not Owned or Serviced by Iowa Student Loan (PDF)
• Copy of recent billing statement and/or recent printout of loans from an online account portal. Loan types, outstanding balance, relevant account number(s) and payment address must be included.

Program Applications

Applications are not currently being accepted for the Iowa Student Loan Teacher Education Loan Forgiveness Program. Iowa Student now offers a Teacher Career Establishment Grant for new classroom teachers in Iowa subject shortage areas.
