ScholarshipsScholarships are awarded through private donors, colleges and universities, and other organizations. They don't have to be repaid, and most are based on merit or financial need. Search for scholarships free through high school counseling offices, college financial aid offices or the Iowa College Access Network (ICAN). Work-StudyWork-study is a part-time job that allows students to get some experience while earning money. Student LoansStudent loans must be repaid with interest after a student graduates, leaves college or drops below half-time. Work with your financial aid office to explore and exhaust all other sources of federal, state and/or institutional financial aid, whether a grant or loan, prior to obtaining a private student loan. |
